Hidden Tides Astrology

Helping you understand the story your soul came here to live

About Casey

I was introduced to the metaphysical at a young age. Many of the women in my family had a connection to spiritual work in one form or another, so conversations about intuition, symbolism, nature, and the unseen were always present in my life.

At first, though, I took a very different path.

I studied Microbiology, fascinated by biological systems and the ways living organisms adapt to their environments. Years later, during a difficult period in my own life, I found my way back to astrology—and began recognizing a strangely familiar pattern.

We adapt, too.

The families we're born into, the relationships we experience, and the environments we move through all shape how we learn to navigate the world. We develop ways of protecting ourselves, beliefs about who we need to be, and patterns that once helped us survive. Some continue to support us. Others remain simply because they've become familiar.

That realization led me deeper into evolutionary and psychological astrology, and ultimately became the foundation of Hidden Tides.

Today, my work explores the birth chart not as a fixed definition of who you are, but as a map of the patterns that have shaped you—and the person you are continually becoming.

What lives beneath the surface

shapes everything above it.

My Approach

I don't approach astrology as a system of fixed meanings or rigid definitions.

To me, a birth chart is a symbolic map of your evolution—one that reveals the patterns, potentials, tensions, and lessons that may shape your journey throughout this lifetime.

My work is rooted in evolutionary and psychological astrology. Rather than asking only What does this placement mean?, I'm more interested in questions like:

How has this energy been expressed throughout your life?
What experiences have shaped it?
What might it be asking of you now?

Every placement exists on a spectrum of expression. How it manifests is shaped by your relationships, environment, experiences, and the choices you've made along the way. This is why I approach every chart with curiosity rather than certainty.

While evolutionary astrology often speaks in terms of soul growth, you don't need to hold any particular spiritual beliefs for this work to be meaningful. Whether you understand your chart as a map of the soul, a reflection of inherited psychological patterns, or simply a framework for self-exploration, the purpose remains the same: to deepen awareness and expand choice.

I don't believe astrology exists to predict a fixed future or tell you who you are. My role is to help illuminate the patterns that may be difficult to see from within, offer language for experiences that can be hard to name, and explore where your life may be inviting you to grow.

Astrology doesn't define who you are. It gives you another way to understand who you are becoming.

Your soul carries a purpose.

Your chart helps illuminate the way.
