Hidden Tides Astrology

I was introduced to the metaphysical at a young age. Many of the women in my family had a connection to spiritual work in one form or another, so conversations about intuition, symbolism, connection to nature and the unseen were always present in my life.

At first, though, I took a very different path.

I studied Microbiology, drawn to biological systems and the remarkable ways living organisms adapt under pressure. I was fascinated by evolution—not simply as a process of change, but by the way life responds to its environment. Every organism develops strategies to survive. It adapts, protects itself, and evolves in response to the conditions it encounters.

Years later, during a difficult period in my own life, I found my way back to astrology. What began as a personal search for understanding quickly became something much deeper.

The more I studied, the more I recognized a familiar pattern.

We adapt, too.

Not only biologically, but emotionally. The families we are born into, the relationships we experience, the environments we move through, and the stories we inherit all shape how we learn to navigate the world. We develop ways of protecting ourselves, beliefs about who we need to be in order to be loved, and patterns that once helped us survive. Some continue to support us. Others remain simply because they have become familiar.

This realization led me deeper into evolutionary astrology, psychological astrology, and the study of the unconscious patterns that quietly influence our lives.

Evolutionary astrology approaches the birth chart not simply as a description of personality, but as a symbolic map of growth. Rather than asking, Who are you? it asks deeper questions:

What is your soul here to learn?

Which patterns are you being invited to outgrow?

What gifts are you here to cultivate?

Whether you understand those questions through the lens of soul evolution, inherited psychology, or simply the human search for meaning, the invitation is the same: to become conscious of the forces that have shaped us so we can choose what we carry forward.

To me, astrology offers a language for exploring those hidden currents.

Not as a tool for defining who we are, but for illuminating the deeper patterns moving beneath the surface: the tensions we return to, the strengths we may overlook, the lessons that continue to present themselves, and the direction life seems to gently invite us toward.

This is why I named my practice Hidden Tides.

The most influential forces in our lives are often invisible. They exist beneath conscious awareness, quietly shaping the choices we make, the relationships we build, and the stories we tell ourselves. Like the tides, they are always moving, whether we notice them or not.

My work is grounded in the belief that while we are shaped by our experiences, we are never reduced to them. A birth chart is not a sentence, nor is it a rigid blueprint for your future. It is a symbolic map—one that reveals both the patterns you've inherited and the possibilities that emerge when those patterns are met with awareness.

I don't believe astrology exists to tell us who we are.

I believe it helps us discover who we are meant to become in this life.

Because every moment of awareness creates the possibility of a different choice. And every different choice has the power to change not only our own lives, but the currents we pass on to those who come after us.
