July 2026 Energetic Forecast

June 29 | Capricorn Full Moon + Mercury Stations Retrograde in Cancer

Theme: Looking Backward to Move Forward

July begins by asking us to pause.

The Capricorn Full Moon illuminates the structures we've built to keep ourselves safe: our responsibilities, achievements, coping mechanisms, and survival strategies. At the same time, Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer, turning our attention toward memory, emotional inheritance, family systems, and the stories we've absorbed about who we need to be in order to deserve love, safety, and belonging.

Questions:

  • Who did I become in order to survive?

  • What emotional truths have I been avoiding?

  • What needs have I learned to suppress?

July 4 | Mars Conjunct Uranus in Gemini

Theme: Disrupting the Narrative

Once we've begun examining our emotional foundations, Mars and Uranus arrive to shake up our thinking.

This transit brings flashes of insight, unexpected conversations, disruptions to familiar thought patterns, and moments of clarity that cannot be ignored. Sometimes, the story we've been telling ourselves about our lives suddenly stops making sense.

Questions:

  • What beliefs about myself am I beginning to question?

  • What truths can no longer be rationalized away?

  • What new possibilities am I finally willing to consider?

July 7 | Neptune Stations Retrograde in Aries

July 7 | Neptune Stations Retrograde in Aries
Theme: The Stories We Tell Ourselves

As Mercury continues its retrograde journey through Cancer, we remain immersed in the emotional landscapes of memory, family, belonging, and identity. Rather than moving away from our feelings to analyze them intellectually, we are asked to stay with them a little longer.

What memories continue to shape the way we understand ourselves?

What emotional truths have we learned to avoid, reinterpret, or suppress?

Yet the deeper work of this period belongs to Neptune.

When Neptune stations retrograde, the veil begins to thin. The stories, fantasies, projections, and identities we've unconsciously relied upon become more difficult to sustain. What once felt certain may begin to feel ambiguous. What once felt true may reveal itself to have been a coping mechanism, a hope, or a fear.

In Aries, these questions become profoundly personal.

Who have I believed myself to be?

What identities have I constructed in order to survive, succeed, or belong?

What desires are genuinely mine, and which have been inherited, projected, or performed?

Neptune retrograde rarely provides immediate answers. Instead, it asks us to sit with uncertainty. To recognize where we've mistaken a survival strategy for a personality trait, a role for an identity, or an illusion for a truth.

This can be deeply uncomfortable.

Because sometimes the greatest illusion is not the story we tell others.

It is the story we tell ourselves.

And perhaps the most difficult question of all:

Who might you become if you stopped believing the stories that were never truly yours to begin with?

July 22–23 | Sun Enters Leo + Mercury Stations Direct

Theme: Emerging Clarity

After weeks of reflection, revision, and uncertainty, something begins to crystallize.

Mercury stations direct, bringing clarity to the themes we've been reviewing all month. Simultaneously, the Sun enters Leo, shifting the energy from introspection toward expression, creativity, courage, and visibility.

The question is no longer "Who am I?"

The question becomes:

Am I willing to let that person be seen?

July 26 | North Node Enters Aquarius

Theme: Authentic Belonging

One of the year's most significant shifts asks us to reconsider what it means to belong.

The North Node in Aquarius invites us to move beyond performance, external validation, and inherited expectations toward authenticity, community, collaboration, and collective vision.

We are reminded that becoming ourselves is not a solitary process.

Questions:

  • Where have I been seeking approval rather than connection?

  • What communities reflect who I truly am?

  • What future am I helping to create?

July 29 | Sun-Jupiter Cazimi in Leo

Theme: The Courage to Be Seen

The month culminates in one of its brightest moments.

The Sun shines directly on Jupiter in Leo, amplifying creativity, confidence, joy, visibility, and self-expression. After a month spent questioning our identities, examining our stories, and confronting difficult truths, we are offered an opportunity to step forward.

Not because we have everything figured out.

Not because we are perfectly healed.

But because we finally understand that authenticity is not something we achieve.

It is something we allow.

The Story of July

July asks us to revisit the emotional foundations upon which we've built our lives, question the identities we've adopted in order to survive, and begin imagining who we might become without them.

Perhaps becoming yourself was never about finding a final answer.

Perhaps it was always about remembering who you were before you learned who you had to be—and finding the courage to let that person be seen.
